BB Yoga Flow was established in January 2013 by Agnes Balawejder-Busch. Before opening BB Yoga Flow Agnes organized sunrise yoga meetups at the beach in Placencia. She is practicing yoga for more than 10 years, before finding her way into yoga she was a passionate amateur contemporary dancer. Her previous professional background was in law, where she earned a Doctor in Law degree and rendered legal services as an attorney at law.
Agnes received her Hatha Yoga Teaching Certification from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California, where she studied with Kent Bond, Sven Holcomb, Ganga White and Tracey Rich. She also studied Ashtanga yoga with Basia Lipska-Larsen. In February 2015 Jan Knight - a certified Sivananda Yoga teacher - joined BB Yoga Flow and is teaching Sivananda Flow classes.
Jan began practicing yoga in the mid 80s to rehabilitate after a skiing injury. Realizing the myriad benefits -physically, emotionally and spiritually - she developed her knowledge and experience by spending extended stays at ashrams around the world and taking classes in diverse yoga disciplines.
Feeling an affinity to Sivananda Hatha Yoga, Jan completed her Teacher Training Certification in the Bahamas in 2007. A lifelong educator, she took a hiatus from Montessori Elementary teaching and immersed herself in offering Yoga and Yoga Therapy classes in a variety of settings and different age groups.
